On August 4th, before parent plaintiffs enter the NY Supreme Court to make initial arguments for their case that the city violated its own budget process by skipping a PEP vote, education groups will be holding a rally and presser at 9:30 am at Foley Square, right in front of the Supreme Court. The rally is being organized by AQE, Make The Road, and the New Yorkers for Racially Just Public Schools coalition (RJPS) and will center on parents and educators’ demands to restore the cuts to schools that were put in place by the Mayor.
