Good Morning Parent Community,
The CCSE is forming a District Planning and Enrollment Committee. The need has been established that the formula used for school utilization often does not consider spaces for related services such as an OT/PT room or a counseling suite. As a result, students with disabilities will have their related services administered in a hallway, storage closet, or even a bathroom. We have also seen deficits in specialized programs not only in specific grades but also in complete districts. Our goal is to combine resources and data to identify areas that are in great need of specialized programs (D75, Horizon, Bilingual Special Education, etc.) and to reimagine how to address pre-existing and present enrollment challenges.
