Dear Parent Leaders,
2023 is an Education Council Election year!
On Monday January 9th we will be announcing the launch of the Citywide and Community Education Council Election process. Due to the public exposure of a press conference and in an effort to ensure fairness amongst all potential candidates, we have not invited parents who are currently eligible to run for election.
However, we are excited to have you join us. We have included the live stream link to the announcement below for everyone to view. In the meanwhile we encourage you to visit our CCEC Elections page to learn about campaign guidelines, the elections, and how to run for a seat by attending a virtual info session, occurring daily throughout the application period, from January 9 – February 13: http://on.nyc.gov/3CqEFci.
