Spread the Word – Take the NYC School Survey by March 31!

Dear Parent Leaders,

Please remember to encourage your networks to complete the NYC School Survey by March 31. Every year, we ask all families, teachers, and staff in grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6-12 to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make their school a better place to learn.

Please help us elevate the voices of our families by encouraging their participation in this year’s survey.

Families can take the survey online here. To complete the survey online, families will need to enter their access code, which is a lower case “f” followed by their child’s nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) number to access the survey (e.g., f123456789). Student OSIS numbers can be found on student report cards, student IDs or in the family’s NYC Schools Account (NYCSA).

Families can also login to their NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) to take the survey anytime until March 31. The survey is open to families with students attending 3K, pre-K, Charter schools, and NYC DOE Community Schools including District 75.

2023 NYC School Survey marketing materials, including a social media kit with sample texts and survey graphics, can be found on the Survey Infohub. Please use these resources to post about the survey in any upcoming parent communications.
