First Tech Fund – Free virtual high school fellowship program with tech access

FYI!

First Tech Fund is recruiting for our First Tech Fund fellowship that empowers low-income high school students to identify, navigate, and attain academic and professional opportunities by providing a supportive, adaptive ecosystem where students get access to free tech, free broadband, skills training, social capital, mentorship, and more.

Our application deadline of April 1st at 7pm is approaching, and we would be appreciative of you helping us get the word out to rising 10th-12th graders in NYC!

Would you be open to sharing this with the CEC 29 community or adding it to your community newsletter? I’ve also attached our community 1-pager document with program details in English and Spanish, and an application graphic to share out. More details about our application can be found in our application webinar.

Below is a short blurb for you to share if you’re interested:

First Tech Fund is recruiting students for their 4th cohort of students in their virtual high school fellowship program. Fellows will participate in weekly virtual workshops around careers and foundational digital skills for the future, be eligible to receive free technology depending on their technology needs (laptop and/or WiFi hotspot), and can opt into mentorship with a young professional. Interested students who are rising 10th-12th graders and attend school in NYC can learn more by checking out this flyer, watching this application webinar, and applying here or printing the application and mailing it in. The application is due April 1st at 7pm, with no late applications accepted.”
