Parent Member Application – Panel for Educational Policy July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024, Term

Dear Family Leadership, Family Support Coordinators and Council Members (Bcc’d),

It is with much excitement we share with you that the PEP Parent application is now available on the DOE website.  We encourage parents to apply; parents must have at least one child currently attending a public, non-charter school in NYC and reside in the borough you seek to represent. The child may be in any grade (pre-K through 12th).

If parents are interested in serving on the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP) as one of the 5 parents elected by the CEC presidents, they must complete the application (see attachments) and send to PEPParentApplications@schools.nyc.gov by April 15, 2023.
