Greetings, Friends of NYC Care!
We know summer can be a busy time, but we hope you can spare a few moments this weekend to participate in our NYC Care Weekend of Action for Healthcare Access! You can even join virtually – from your couch, the beach, the park – wherever!
All we ask you to do is to amplify our messages to help build a city of healthy neighbors, and we’ve even got talking points and social media posts you can just copy and share!
What are our Weekend of Action goals? To
- Encourage New Yorkers to take care of themselves by making even 1 primary care appointment this year.
- Share info about NYC Care as an option for those who don’t qualify for Medicaid/other insurance to be able to access primary care.
- Remind those with Medicaid that they have to recertify this year, or risk losing coverage.

– Post on social media
– Talk about our messages at your own event this weekend
– Volunteer for an in-person Day of Action on Friday 7/14
