Hope this email finds you well. The November General Election is around the corner. Early Voting starts Saturday, October 28th and ends Sunday, November 5th. Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th.
The Civic Engagement Commission will be providing interpretation services in multiple languages at 100 poll sites across the city! Help us spread awareness about voters’ right to bring an interpreter to the voting booth, connect New Yorkers to language services, and inform voters about key Election dates. A map of poll sites where services will be available can be found here: on.nyc.gov/PollLangAssist.
You can find graphics and a PSA translated into twelve languages along with sample messages in this Digital Toolkit. Please help inform your community by posting on social media, including an entry in your newsletter, or printing and sharing out a poster or palm card. You can also share relevant posts from CEC’s social media accounts.
