Submit Your Idea for The People’s Money ages 11 and Older!

The NYC Civic Engagement Commission, @nyccec, has launched the second year of NYC’s citywide participatory budgeting process, The People’s Money! To kick-off phase 1, our partners across the city are holding idea generation sessions to find out how residents want to spend part of the city budget. Everyone 11 years old or older can submit an idea, or ideas, to be considered for their borough’s ballot. You can submit your ideas it help your community at Participate.nyc.gov.

And you can also apply to be on our Borough Assembly Committees which consists of residents of each borough who meet in January and evaluate all the ideas to decide what goes on the ballots! For more info, to submit an idea, or apply to be an Assembly Member go to Assembly Application.
