Dear Families,
Good news! If you missed the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) or if you didn’t register before the deadline, you can request a make-up test! Please note that if you have already taken the SHSAT this year, you cannot take it again.
- If you want to register, reach out to your school counselor or a Family Welcome Center by November 20, 2023.
- Already registered for a make-up test? We will notify students and schools when test tickets are ready to print from MySchools. Each student’s ticket includes information about their test date and location; learn more at schools.nyc.gov/SHS.
- Already took the test? You’re all set—there’s nothing else you need to do now. We will notify families and schools when results will be available in March 2024.
