Happy New Year! If your child was born in 2019, be sure to apply to kindergarten by January 19, 2024.

Already submitted your kindergarten application? Congratulations—no further action is needed.

If you haven’t applied yet, here’s what to do:

Visit Myschools.nyc to explore your child’s kindergarten options—you can search for schools by location, accessibility, and more.
Choose up to 12 programs for your child’s kindergarten application and place them in your true order of preference, with your first choice at the top as #1.
Submit your application one of three ways:

Online with Myschools.nyc- Recommended! Create your account today. You’ll use MySchools to search for elementary schools, find great choices for your child’s application, apply to kindergarten, and get your child’s offer letter. Watch our video tutorials to learn how to create your MySchools account and how to apply.
By phone at 718-935-2009. Call us Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm.
