Dear Families,

Join us for a virtual information session about Elementary Admissions.

All NYC families with children born in 2019, 2020, and 2021 are invited to join us at a virtual information session covering 3-K, Pre-K, and kindergarten (including Gifted and Talented) admissions. After the presentation, we’ll respond to your questions.

During each session we’ll walk you through each of the elementary admissions processes. We’ll cover how to learn about schools and programs, and their priorities, using the online school directory at MySchools.nyc. We’ll also discuss how to create a strong and balanced application, and how to apply.

All events are in English and American Sign Language (ASL), with interpretation in different languages. Each event will cover the same information, so there is no need to attend more than one event. We will also take time to answer questions from attendees.

  • January 11, 2pm to 3pm | Event held in English. Interpretation provided in: Arabic, Russian, Haitian Creole
  • January 18, 6pm to 7pm | Event held in English. Interpretation provided in: Chinese (Mandarin), French, Urdu
  • January 23, 6pm to 7pm | Event held in Spanish. No additional interpretation.
  • February 7, 2pm to 3pm | Event held in English. Interpretation provided in: Spanish, Bangla, Korean
  • February 15, 6pm to 7pm | Event held in English. Interpretation provided in: Russian, Haitian Creole, Arabic
