Dear Families,
Middle school offers and waitlist information will be available on MySchools, after school hours on April 3! In preparation, we invite you to join us for a live virtual event about middle school offers and waitlists. After the presentation, we’ll respond to your questions. Each event will be virtual, so you can join from anywhere!
During each online event, we will discuss:
- How to access your child’s middle school offer
- Navigating Waitlists:
- Joining waitlists
- How waitlist offers are made
- What to do if you receive a waitlist offer
The content of each event is the same, but different interpretation services will be provided at different events, as follows:
- Thursday, April 4, 5pm to 6pm | Event held in English; ASL. Interpretation provided in: Bengali, Korean, Spanish
- Tuesday, April 9, 5pm to 6pm | Event held in English; ASL. Interpretation provided in: Chinese (Mandarin), Haitian Creole, Urdu
- Thursday, April 11, 1pm to 2pm | Event held in English; ASL. Interpretation provided in: Arabic, French, Russian
How to join:
- Each event will be hosted live on Zoom. Click https://bit.ly/MSSpringEvents2024 at the event start time and enter passcode #123456 to join.
- Interpretation Services: Find phone numbers for the provided languages at schools.nyc.gov/MS.
Can’t attend, or want to learn more?
- Visit schools.nyc.gov/MS. A captioned recording with translations will be available on our website one day after the first event.
