| Dear Parent / Caregiver, The UFT’s BRAVE campaign (Building Respect, Acceptance and Voice through Education) has recently changed its anti-bullying hotline number. Students and parents who need mental health support can now speak to a live counselor at any time by calling the hotline at 917-727-1908. They may also reach out via text at 43961 or chat with a counselor online. The BRAVE campaign is proud to provide students, parents, and educators with the resources needed to combat bullying in our schools. If your child or school community is struggling with bullying, request a UFT anti-bullying workshop for your school.
