Happy New Year! Apply to kindergarten by January 20!

Dear Families,

Happy New Year! If your child was born in 2018, be sure to apply to kindergarten by January 20, 2023.

Already submitted your kindergarten application? Congratulations—no further action is needed.

If you haven’t applied yet, here’s what to do:

Visit MySchools.nyc to explore your child’s kindergarten options—you can search for schools by location, accessibility, and more.
Choose up to 12 programs for your child’s kindergarten application and place them in your true order of preference, with your first choice at the top as #1.
Submit your application one of two ways:

Online with MySchools—all you need to get started is an email address and some basic information about your child. When you’re done with the application, don’t forget to click the “Submit Application” button!
By phone at 718-935-2009
