Adaptive Swim Program for People with Disabilities
Enjoy the benefits of Adaptive Aquatics where inclusiveness, safety and fun come together in the water. This program includes Aquatic exercise therapy that ranges from gentle water walking to aerobic-type exercise, which improves range of motion, flexibility, mobility, muscle tone, coordinator, focus and strength. For children and adults!
Multiple Locations: Asser Levy Recreation Center in Manhattan, Constance Baker Motley Recreation Center in Manhattan, Chelsea in Manhattan, Gertrude Ederle Recreation Center in Manhattan, St. John’s Recreation Center in Brooklyn, Metropolitan Recreation Center in Brooklyn, and Roy Wilkins Recreation Center and Flushing Meadows Aquatic Center in Queens
Session Dates: October 13 – December 30, 2023
