I’m writing to let you know that overnight one of our vendors, Crowdstrike, released a software update that affected workstations and servers across New York City, including at NYCPS. This is a citywide – and global – issue.
Some NYCPS staff may experience issues logging in and accessing the internet. Summer Rising students and staff should feel minimal impact. A number of products and services are impacted and may impact staff functions – we are still assessing the full extent. We are working with vendors to ensure there is minimal impact to operations.
We are working with Crowdstrike and OTI to resolve this issue and thank you for your support and cooperation.
